This advertising poster for the RMS Majestic was created in the early 1930s for the White Star Line, the British shipping company most remembered today as owners of RMS Titanic. The artist William James Aylward (1875-1956) trained under the well-known illustrator and prolific teacher Howard Pile and also worked as a combat artists for the US Army during World War One. The lower margin indicates "Printed In Belgium ByO. De Rycker, Brussels-Forest"
This poster has been professionally linen backed with minimal expert repair to a couple small tears and imperfections. The poster displays beautifully and is in very good condition overall.
