This charming 1930s travel poster for Hungary features an image of Hungarian women in traditional folk dress by noted Hungarian photographer Balogh Rudolf. The title HUNGARIA is printed in large letters across the bottom of the image and the lower margin shows the photo credit to Balogh Rudolf who is honored today as the namesake of the Balogh Rudolf Prize, Hungary’s most prestigious professional photography award. The lower margin also indicates “Printed By Athenaeum” and “Printed In Hungary”.

This poster is a vintage original from the 1930s and is in very good condition with no tape or pinholes. The poster shows some modest handling wear, a couple small scuffs in the image area and toning to the paper from age. Overall condition is very good.
