This vintage original WWII poster was issued by the United States Treasury to promote the sale of war bonds in 1943. American Army infantry battle forward as a Sherman tank fires it’s gun at an unseen enemy. The hellish battle scene is backlit by a fiery sky adding emphasis to the tagline They’re fighting harder than ever – are you buying MORE WAR BONDS Than Ever? This poster was created by the artist John Newton Hewitt who is most remembered today as a prolific illustrator of pulp magazine covers.

This poster is folded as issued and shows just light toning from age and modest handling wear. This poster has no tape or pinholes and doesn't appear to have ever been hung up or used.  Overall condition is excellent.
