This is an original Cold War era poster issued in support of U.N. Observers by the United Nations Department of Public Information. This poster isn’t dated but looks to be from the early 1960s or late 1950s. This poster has an eye catching Modernist photomontage design showing a UN Observer peering through binoculars with another group of observers representing different nationalities in the center. The lower margin is printed “UN Presentation 2235, 1E”.
This unrestored poster was folded originally and has a couple small nicks on the edge margins in spots, modest toning from age and light handling wear. Overall condition is very good.
