This charming poster was created by Wizard of Oz book illustrator Dick Martin and issued by the publisher, The Reilly & Lee Company. We believe this poster was intended for advertising use in bookstores and other places where the Oz books were sold. Many of the beloved characters featured in the Wizard of Oz books are illustrated with their names forming a border. The poster isn’t dated but Dick Martin illustrated his first Wizard of Oz book in 1963. This vintage original poster has been expertly backed to linen and is in very good condition with bold colors and beautiful display quality.
