This vintage original poster promoting Mexico City as a travel destination was created by the Spanish artist Jose Maria Tuser Vázquez (1919-1986) for Western Airlines in the early 1970s. The colorful spectacle of a whirling matador fighting a raging bull is contrasted by a sleek modern jet airliner traversing the top of the image. The artist’s name is signed in print as Tuser in the lower left corner of the image area.
This vintage original poster has no tape or pinholes and looks pretty well unused with just light handling wear. The original colors are strongly retained and the poster displays beautifully. Overall condition is excellent for this rare vintage original.
