This is a lot of eight vintage original c.1980 posters advertising live blues music shows at the Zoo Bar in Lincoln, Nebraska which is widely recognized as one of the preeminent venues for live blues music in the United States.  These posters measure about 17” x 11” with one smaller and measuring about 14” x 8.5”.  

Each poster is for a different gig with performers including Magic Slim and the Teardrops, Eddy Clearwater, Carey Bell, Mighty Joe Young, Jimmy Johnson, Albert Collins and Charlie Musselwhite.  Some of the performers are touted as Alligator Recording Artists or “Direct from Chicago”.   The years are not given on the posters but the cover charges ranged from 50 cents to $2.00 or $2.50 with one being $3.50.  We believe the posters date from the late 1970s to early 1980s.   

All posters are vintage originals in very good condition with light handling wear and some toning from age.  Overall condition is very good.
