This is a vintage original title lobby card for Rocket Ship which was the 1950 reissue title for Universal Pictures 1938 movie based on the 15–chapter science-fiction serial Flash Gordon's Trip to Mars. This film starred Larry “Buster” Crabbe as Flash Gordon, Jean Rogers as Dale Arden, Frank Shannon as Dr. Alexis Zarkov, Charles B. Middleton as Ming the Merciless, Richard Alexander as Prince Barin and Wheeler Oakman as Ming's chief henchman along with others reprising roles from the first Flash Gordon serial.  

This vintage original title lobby card is free of tape or pinholes and shows only slight handling wear and modest toning from age.   A faint trace of staining is visible in a spot about an inch long along the lower margin near the lower left corner and a couple small speckles are visible in the lower right quarter.  The colors are strong and overall condition is excellent.
