This vintage original poster was issued by The Office of War Information in 1943 as OWI Poster No. 40. This poster features an excerpt of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s January 7, 1943 State of the Union Speech in which he praised the war effort of everyday Americans and proclaimed “the state of this nation is good”. Roosevelt also promised advances against the Japanese and an invasion of Nazi controlled Europe.
This vintage original poster is folded as issued and shows light handling wear including a couple quarter inch tears on the edges and modest toning from age. Overall Condition is very good for this vintage original.
