This rare poster was issued by the National Foundation for Infant Paralysis to support the 1947 March of Dimes donation drive in American movie theaters. This poster features the “Fight Infant Paralysis” logo and has artwork of a young girl walking with the aid of leg braces and a cane. The artist’s signature appears in the artwork and looks like “Harwicke” but we can’t make it out and haven’t identified the artist.

We locate no other examples of this poster. The poster is folded as issued and looks unused with just light handling wear, some toning from age and very faint ghosting to the ink in places. Overall condition is very good for this vintage original.
