This is a vintage original folded one sheet movie poster for the 1972 Saul Swimmer directed documentary film The Concert For Bangladesh.
This film was released by Apple Films and documents the two April 1, 1971 benefit concerts at Madison Square Garden that were organized by George Harrison and Ravi Shankar to raise funds for refugees of the Bangladesh Liberation War. Along with Harrison and Shankar, the film features performances by Bob Dylan, Ringo Starr, Billy Preston, Leon Russell, Eric Clapton, the band Badfinger and others.
This vintage original poster is folded as issued and shows moderate handling wear as well as pinholes on the corners and short pinhole tears on the lower corners. The poster shows small areas of separation at the intersection of fold lines and the movie title is written in by hand on the lower right hand corner of the poster. Overall condition is very good for this vintage original.
