This thrilling vintage original silkscreen poster was created by the artist Earl Newman for the 1968 Isle of Man TT or Tourist Trophy motorcycle racing event. Newman’s image of a speeding motorcycle aptly captures the drama of this 13-day event which has been held annually most years since it’s inception in 1907.  The Isle of Man TT is widely recognized as one of the most dangerous racing events in the world having claimed the lives of almost 300 people, mostly competitors but also race officials and spectators, since it began.  

This rare vintage original poster has been professionally linen backed with some small repair and expert touchup as needed including repair to a couple short tears on the top edge and bumped edges.  Newman’s name is signed in print at the top edge along with his 1967 copyright.  Overall condition is very good.  Serious buyers can contact us for photos of the poster prior to linen backing.
