This compelling early war poster created by John Norton was issued shortly after the United States entered WWI in 1917. Bloodstained jackboots, emblazoned with the Reichsadler or black eagle emblem of Imperial Germany, stand over the chilling title line “Keep THESE Off The U.S.A. – Buy More LIBERTY BONDS”.
This original antique poster has been professionally linen backed with expert repair to a few scuffs, short tears and creases on the edges. The poster displays nicely. Overall condition is very good.
