This vintage original WWII poster was issued by the War Production Board in 1942 to help motivate mineworkers and others engaged in vital wartime work. This poster features a Modernist design style depicting mineworkers producing raw material transitioning into factory workers producing shells transitioning into soldiers on the frontline firing an artillery piece. The artist’s name is printed on the right edge and appears to be “Monnast”.
This vintage original WWII poster is fully complete and well intact. The poster shows moderate handling wear, some toning from age, faint ghosting at the top and a pinhole on each corner. The poster has no tape and displays very nicely. Overall condition is very good.
