This vintage original poster was issued during WWII as an advertising piece by the makers of Grapette imitation grape flavored soda pop.

This poster illustrates “Insignia of Rank and Service” for all branches of the United State military including U.S. Army, Marines, Navy and Coast Guard. This poster also illustrates Service Medals and Service-Commemorative Medals on the side borders and Decorations for Heroism or Outstanding Service along the bottom edge. A large Grapette logo is printed in the middle of the poster and the lower margin shows a 1943 copyright by Thomas R. Diver of Baltimore, Maryland. The title printed across the top of the poster reads GRAPETTE SALUTES THE U.S. ARMED FORCES.

This vintage original poster has no tape or pinholes and shows moderate handling wear including a slight vertical crease about two inches from the left edge. The poster has some crease and a small abraded area on the upper right corner and a small bit of loss to the tip of the upper right corner but this is small, confined to the margin and doesn't affect the image area of the poster.  The poster has a small bit of creasing on the tip of the lower right corner and a tear of about an inch without paper loss on the left edge.
The poster otherwise looks pretty well unused with the original colors retained. Overall condition is very good.
