This vintage original WWII poster was issued by the Office of Economic Stabilization and distributed by the Office of War Information in 1943. This poster is one of at least four very similar “runaway prices” posters issued by the Office of Economic Stabilization in 1943 all of which featured the same “7-Key Plan To Hold Prices Down” with different artwork include one featuring Uncle Sam by James Montgomery Flagg.
This vintage original poster has no tape or pinholes and doesn’t appear to have ever been used. The poster shows modest toning from age and light handling wear and is in excellent condition overall.
