This vintage original WWII poster is one in series created by the Walt Disney Studios in 1943 for the Food and Nutrition Committee of the California War Council. This poster features beloved Disney characters Donald Duck and Horace Horsecollar to remind factory workers and others laboring in support of the war effort of the importance of eating a nutritious breakfast. Horace Horsecollar is shown blasting Donald with a jackhammer under the poster’s title you can’t breakfast like a bird and work like a horse! A 1943 copyright by Walt Disney Studios is printed on the poster along with suggestions for what constitutes a good breakfast.
This vintage original poster has no tape or pinholes and shows light handling wear and modest toning from age. Overall condition is very good.
