This vintage original and rare WWII poster was issued by the United States Treasury to help promote the sale of bonds connected to the 6th War Loan which ran from November 2nd to December 16th 1944. The artwork created by Roy Martin depicts a grimacing US Army GI with a bullet hole in his helmet crawling through a fiery hellscape under the caption STICK WITH ME TO THE FINISH – KEEP BUYING WAR BONDS. We don’t have much information on the artist Roy Martin and a Worldcat search locates no copies.

This vintage original poster has no tape or pinholes and doesn’t appear to have ever been hung up or used. There is a short tear of about a quarter inch on the top edge and a small pinhole size puncture near the upper right hand corner. This rare poster is otherwise in excellent, near mint condition.
