1964 The Beatles Wing Dings Girls Sneakers Pair of Shoes Beatlemania NEMS ORIGINAL

This is an original pair of Beatles Wing Dings Girls’ Sneakers issued by NEMS in 1964 to capitalize on Beatlemania and The Beatles 1964 North American Tour.   These shoes are blue fabric printed with facsimile autographs and faces of the Fab Four.  The insoles are printed with the Wing Dings logo.  No size is indicated but the shoes measures about 10” in length and a little more than 3” wide a widest point.    

The shoes have hardened a bit from age but are otherwise in excellent condition.   There is virtually no wear at all to soles of either shoe so these were probably never worn or used.   The right shoe has two small brown spots on each side of the toe area at the front and two other small brown spots on the white trim at the top back of the shoe where the foot goes in.   We haven’t made any effort to clean or mitigate the spots but that might be possible.  These are shoes only without box.  Overall condition is excellent for these vintage original artifacts of that magical time when The Beatles and Beatlemania took America by storm.
