This is a vintage original and rare 1979 poster for Baghdad Cultural Week in Iraq which was organized and promoted by the Iraqi Baathist political party controlled by Saddam Hussein just prior to the beginning of the Iran-Iraq War. This poster was obtained by an American working in Iraq during the early 1980s Iran-Iraq War period. The poster depicts stylized Arabic calligraphy with Arabic text.
