This is a lot of nine vintage original small format mine safety posters issued by the National Safety Council in the late 1920s. These posters all feature different aspects of safety in mines and all are small format printed one side only measuring about 12” x 9”. The National Safety Council logo appears at the bottom and eight of the nine posters are printed “Mining Section” at the bottom with the other printed “Metal Mining Section”. All posters are illustrated with photographic images and address topics such as setting drills properly, proper capping of mine shafts, safe blasting, not jumping from moving mine cars and more.
These vintage original mini posters are unused and free of tape or pinholes. The posters show light handling wear including slightly bumped edges and small creases on a few of the corner tips. Overall condition is very good.
