This vintage original WWII poster was issued by the Incentive Division of the Navy Department to highlight the Army Navy “Excellence in Production” or “E” Award program. This coveted Army Navy “E” award was earned by only about 5% of the 85,000 companies that produced war materials for the US military during WWII. This poster features jaunty images of an American factory worker shoulder to shoulder with an American Army soldier and a US Navy sailor all under a large Army Navy E Award flag with text that reads:
ARMY-NAVY PRODUCTION AWARD – Let’s keep our “E” More Production for Victory!
This vintage original WWII poster is fully complete and well intact. The poster shows moderate handling wear, slight toning from age and a pinhole on each corner. The poster has a small tack hole size puncture near the upper right-hand corner and was folded slightly irregularly. The poster has no tape and the colors are sharp and bold. Overall condition is very good.
