This vintage original poster was issue by the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway to advertising their flagship Chief passenger train service between Chicago and Los Angeles. A manly American Indian chief, his weathered visage framed by an impressive headdress of eagle feathers, gives a confident and inviting glance suggesting “The Chief Way” is the only way to go in cross country rail travel.

This poster has been professionally backed to linen and shows some small expert repairs and toning in the margins. The poster has bright colors and offers and impressive and beautiful display.
