This vintage original poster advertising New England as a travel destination is one is a series the artist Stan Galli created for United Airlines in the 1950s and 1960s.   Other destinations in the Galli United Air Lines series include New York, Disneyland, Hawaii, Los Angeles, San Francisco and several others.   For this poster Galli renders an image in his distinctive Mid-Century style containing symbols of New England including a Folk Art style carving of a ship’s captain with sextant, a whaling harpoon, a weathervane and more.  Galli’s name is signed in print on the lower right.  

This vintage original poster looks pretty well unused with no tape or pinholes and only light handling wear including light bumping to the edges in places and a short tear of about an inch without paper loss on the top edge.  Overall condition is very good for this vintage original.
