This vintage original poster advertising the Bahamas as a travel destination is one in series created by the artist Jack Laycock for Delta Air Lines in the 1970s. For this poster Laycock renders a colorful image in his distinct contemporary style of a horsedrawn carriage amidst a lush tropical forest with what looks like the Anglican Church of St Paul in Clarence Town visible in the background.
This vintage original poster has been professionally conservation mounted to a linen backing. A few short tears and small abrasions on the edges were expertly repaired during the linen backing process. The colors retain their original luster and overall condition is very good.
