This striking WWII poster was created by the artist Henry Koerner and issued by the Office of War Information in 1943 as OWI Poster No. 61. An bank of large cannons, each festooned with the flag of an allied nation, fire a fusillade of artillery shells into the sky at an unseen enemy. The brilliant muzzle flash of the cannons underscore the poster’s tag line United We Are Strong – United We Will Win. This is the full size one sheet version of this poster in excellent near mint condition. This poster is folded as issued and doesn’t appear to have ever been used or even unfolded until now. This vintage original WWII poster is in near mint condition with just modest toning from age.
