Offered here is a vintage original full-size linen backed poster from John F. Kennedy’s 1960s presidential campaign. This poster features an iconic photomontage design that so aptly captures the style of the Kennedy era “New Frontier” and the one brief shinning moment that was Camelot in America. The lower margin has the union made emblem and indicates this poster was issued by Citizens For Kennedy And Johnson of Washington, D.C..
This poster was issued in different sizes and this is the full size one sheet version measuring about 40.5” x 27”. We note also at least two variations for this poster, in the other variation Kennedy’s left should extends all the way to the edge of the poster.
This vintage original poster has been professionally linen backed with expert minor touchup as needed including repair to pinholes on the corners. Overall condition is very good.
