This is a vintage original poster issued by the Young Americans For Freedom in 1971. Young Americans For Freedom, or YAF as it was known, was a youth activism organization founded by conservative icon William F. Buckley, Jr. in 1960 as a coalition between college age traditional conservatives and libertarians. This poster features a quote by Williams F. Buckley, Jr. which reads:
“ War is the second worst activity of mankind, the worst being acquiescence in slavery.” – William F. Buckley, Jr.
The lower righthand corner shows a 1971 copyright by Young Americans For Freedom. This vintage original poster shows moderate handling wear including lightly bumped edges, a short tear of less than an inch on the lower edge and a small quarter inch nick off the tip of the upper left corner. The poster is free of tape or pinholes and still displays nicely. Overall condition is very good.
