This is a vintage original and rare 1979 poster for an exhibit of Gulf Arab art and culture in Baghdad, Iraq which was organized and promoted by Iraqi Baathist political party controlled by Saddam Hussein as part of the effort of that organization to promote their vision of Pan-Arabism. This poster was obtained by an American working in Iraq during the 1970s and early 1980s Iran-Iraq War period.
This vintage original poster shows light handling wear including lightly bumped edges and a bit of slight creasing in places. There is a short half inch tear on the top edge without any paper loss.
