This is a vintage original c.1980 poster was issued by the Le Mouvement National Des Québécois which was a political organization devoted to the cause of having Quebec succeed and become a separate country from Canada. This poster was issued by “Le Camp du Qui” or those supporting the movement for Quebec to leave Canada and become an independent country. The slogan “prends ton pays en main” translates to “Take Your Country In Your Hand”. We believe this poster was issued in the leadup to the 1980 Quebec Referendum in which Quebecois rejected the referendum and voted to remain part of Canada.
This vintage original poster shows moderate handling wear and has an ink stamp on the lower right hand corner. Overall condition is very good.
