This is one of several delightful Mid-Century posters done by Stan Galli for United Air Lines. Galli’s unmistakable style is instantly recognizable in the image of bronzed tourists and their Hawaiian guides riding the waves in an outrigger canoe. A lively ocean of greenish blue is set against a distant beach of golden sand protected by the rugged Hawaiian coastline formed some five million years ago by seamount volcanic activity.

This poster isn’t dated but was produced in the early 1960s. This vintage original poster has been professionally linen backed with minor touch up as needed. About a half inch of paper loss off the tip of the upper and lower righthand corners has been skillfully replaced and a short tear of about an inch without paper loss at the top edge expertly repaired. The poster retains strong color and displays very nicely.  Overall condition is very good.
