This vintage original TWA poster was produced in the early 1960s by David Klein who created many wonderful posters for the airline in the 1950s and 1960s.  Klein’s vibrant Mid-Century style is instantly recognizable in the stylized depiction of a supersized pair of cat eye sunglasses floating in space over a scene of South Beach hotels and blue ocean illuminated by a brilliant sun.   There are at least three variations of this poster and we believe this variation with “Miami” rather than “Florida” in the text appears to show up quite a bit less often.   

This vintage original poster has been professionally backed to linen.  The poster looked almost unused with no tape or pinholes but did have a small piece torn off the tip of the upper left hand corner which has been expertly replaced.   The poster displays beautifully and is in very good condition overall.
