This original WWII era propaganda poster was produced for the Union Pacific as part of the “Keep ‘Em Rolling” series issued by the railroad. The artist isn’t cited but the work appears after the style of William Willmarth who did other posters for the Union Pacific Railroad. The patriotic image highlights the vital roll of railroads in the war effort and announces “The Railroads Are The Backbone Of Defense”. This poster is professionally backed to linen and in excellent condition with just minimal expert touch up as needed to restore the poster to the near perfect original condition.
