This is a lot of two vintage original lobby cards from the 1943 Republic Pictures western movie serial The Blocked Trail. This lot includes the title lobby card and a second scene lobby card which is signed and inscribed by Bob Steele who starred in the film. The inscription in blue ink reads:

The Three Mesquiteers was an umbrella title used by Republic Pictures for a group of 51 western B-movies released by the studio between 1936 and 1943. The Blocked Trail was the forty ninth movie in the serial released in 1943. Bob Steele had a long career in Hollywood mostly acting as a cowboy in western movies and television shows.
These lobby card shows moderate handling wear, a bit of dust staining and toning from age. These lobby cards have no tape, pinholes or tears. Overall condition is very good.
