This original antique WWI poster was created by the artist George Mather for the Salvation Army, one of the seven major non-governmental organization that supported the United War Work Campaign referenced on the poster. The YMCA provided a wide variety of morale and welfare programs to support American forces serving at home and aboard as well as the war workers that labored to provide the necessary war materiel. The United War Work Campaign commenced the after day WWI ended in November 1918 and continued for another year while American forces were still serving in Europe.

This original antique poster has been professionally linen backed and couple short tears and other minor imperfections have been expertly repaired. This poster retains rich colors and displays nicely. Overall condition is very good.
