This is a vintage original and hard to find composite poster for Norman Rockwell’s Four Freedoms series issued as OWI Poster No. 47 in 1943.  This poster was inspired by FDR’s famous January 6, 1941 State of the Union Address in which he outlined the “Four Freedoms”. Roosevelt and others would return to the theme of the Four Freedoms frequently as a touchstone of what Americans were fighting for throughout World War Two.

This is the composite poster that features all four of the Four Freedoms posters combined into a single poster. Rockwell’s Four Freedoms posters were mass produced during WWII and most often found in sets of four with a separate poster for each of the freedoms - Freedom Of Worship (OWI Poster No. 43), Freedom Of Speech (OWI Poster No. 44), Freedom From Want (OWI Poster No. 45) and Freedom From Fear (OWI Poster No. 46). This composite poster featuring all four posters combined into one is a lot harder to find than the individual Four Freedoms posters.

This vintage original poster is folded as issued, has no tape or pinholes and shows just light handling wear, modest toning from age and bit of light pencil writing on the back of the poster which doesn’t show on the front side. Overall condition is very good to excellent for this vintage original WWII poster.
