This is a vintage original WWII era Freedom From Fear poster from Norman Rockwell’s famous Four Freedoms series. This poster and the others in the series were inspired by FDR’s famous January 6, 1941 State of the Union Address in which he outlined the “Four Freedoms”. Roosevelt and others would return to the theme of the Four Freedoms frequently as a touchstone of what Americans were fighting for throughout World War Two.
This is the full one sheet size for this poster measuring 28.5” x 40” issued as OWI Poster No. 46 by the Office of War Information. This poster looks unused with no tape or pinholes and just slight handling wear and modest toning from age. Overall condition is excellent for this vintage original poster.
