This vintage original WWII poster was issued by the Office of War Information as OWI Poster No. 49 in 1943. This poster promotes the profession of nursing with the image of nurse and her patient with the title “Save his life…and find your own – Be A Nurse”.
This poster is a WWII era vintage original folded as issued with light handling wear and modest toning from age. This poster is free of tape or pinholes. The poster has about two inches of separation along the lateral fold line on the left edge but this is pretty well inpercitable when the poster is laid flat and could be easily corrected. Overall condition is very good. This poster is folded as issued and ships that way.
