This vintage original WWII poster was issued by the Office of War Information as OWI Poster No. 39. This poster was targeted at all Americans serving on the Home Front and encourages thrift by reminding the viewer to – Use It Up, Wear It Out, Make It Do! A man bends over to fix his lawnmower while his wife mends a hole in the seat of his trousers above the poster’s tag line – Our Labor And Our Goods Are Fighting.
This poster is folded as issued and looks pretty well unused with just light handling wear and some toning from age. This poster has about a half inch of separation on the top and bottom lateral fold line where it intersects with the vertical fold line but this indescernible when the poster is laid flat. Overall condition is otherwise excellent for this WWII era vintage original. This poster was isssued folded and ships folded.
