This beautiful poster was created by the artist Eric Weber shortly after the end of WWII to promote the Jungfraubahn and the Jungfraujoch area of the Bernese Alps in Switzerland. Healthy looking sled dogs or Polarhundes in the local vernacular provide useful and trusty companions to a group of tourists including one holding skies. The right margin is printed “Entwurf: E. Weber/Gedruckt In Der Schweiz/Paul Bender Zollikon-Zurich”
This rare vintage original poster has been professionally linen backed with some expert repair to minor paper loss at the bottom corners and repair to a couple short tears on the edges. The poster displays beautifully with rich color. Overall condition is very good.
