This is one of several delightful Mid-Century posters done by Stan Galli for United Air Lines. Galli’s unmistakable style is instantly recognizable in the image of bronzed tourists and their Hawaiian guides riding the waves in an outrigger canoe. A lively ocean of greenish blue is set against a distant beach of golden sand protected by the rugged Hawaiian coastline formed some five million years ago by seamount volcanic activity.

This poster isn’t dated but was produced in the early 1960s. This vintage original poster has been professionally linen backed with some touch up as needed. A couple small pieces of tape were removed off the back of the poster prior to linen backing.  This back of the poster had a small bit of what looked like silverfish activity toward the top which has been rectified during the linen backing process.  The colors retain their original vibrancy and the poster displays very nicely.  Contact us for more information and photos as needed.  Overall condition is very good.
