This is one of several delightful Mid-Century posters done by Stan Galli for United Air Lines. Galli’s unmistakable style is instantly recognizable in the image of bronzed tourists and their Hawaiian guides riding the waves in an outrigger canoe. A lively ocean of greenish blue is set against a distant beach of golden sand protected by the rugged Hawaiian coastline formed some five million years ago by seamount volcanic activity.

This poster isn’t dated but was produced in the early 1960s. This poster has been professionally linen backed. There is some restoration to small amounts of paper loss at the edges as well as some expert repair to tears within the image. The poster displays nicely and is in very good condition overall.
