This vintage original poster promoting Hawaii as a travel destination was issued by United Airlines in 1978. This poster features an inviting image of a native Hawaiian woman peeking out from behind a palm frond. The single yellow flower or sei, as they are sometimes called in Polynesian cultures, is placed behind her left ear indicating she’s married while the right ear indicates single. A 1978 copyright by United Airlines in printed on the lower left corner so thus the date.
This vintage original poster has no tape or pinholes and looks pretty well unused with just light handling wear including some bumping the edges in spots. The original colors are strongly retained and the poster displays beautifully. Overall condition is very good for this vintage original.
