This vintage original point of sale cardboard advertising sign for Colonial Bread was issued in the mid 1930s. This sign features a large loaf of Colonial Bread with “Sliced Colonial is good Bread” printed on the label and text that reads:
When April flowers their fragrance shed, There’s joy in eating good fresh bread
This sign isn’t dated but came with others dated 1935 and 1937 and looks to be from that same time period. This vintage original sign shows light handling wear including a couple slight scuffs in the image area. This sign shows a bit of light dust staining and some foxing in places. Overall condition is very good for this vintage original. Please see my other listings for more vintage Colonial Bread signs from this series.
