This vintage original Belgian travel poster was created by the artist Louis Schell and issued by the Commissariat General Au Tourisme government tourism authority.  Schell’s colorful Mid-Century Modern design features a montage of images highlighting Belgium’s attractions including the North Sea coast, historical architecture and what looks like the wetlands and marshes of the Turnhout region.   Schell’s name is signed in print in the upper right corner and the lower right corner denotes the printer as “EST-QUEST, 192 rue Royale, BRUXELLES – Dr C. Andre”.  

This poster is free of tape and pinholes and was probably never hung or used.  The poster shows moderate handling including a couple short quarter inch tears along the bottom edge. The colors retain their original richness and overall condition in very good for this vintage original.
