This is a vintage original c.1962 paper advertising sign for Fanta orange soda.   This sign is printed one side only on slick paper and features a late Mid-Century Modern design with text that reads FANTA ORANGE Tastes so much better…

Fanta was created during the early days of WWII by the German subsidiary of the Coca-Cola Corporation primarily as an alternative to Coca-Cola which had become unavailable due to wartime embargoes and trade restrictions.   The product was reformulated by the Coca-Cola subsidiary in Italy and relaunched in the mid 1950s when the well-know flagship orange soda version still popular today was first introduced. This vintage original sign isn’t dated but came with other material from the early 1960s and looks to be from that same c.1962 time period.    

This paper sign is unused new old stock with no tape or pinholes and just light handling wear including a light crease to the upper left corner and edges lightly bumped in spots.  Overall condition is very good.
