This beautiful vintage original poster was created by the artist Umberto Polenti for the 1949 National Fishing and Hunting Exposition in Ancona, Italy. This poster features the logo of ENIT, the official Italian government tourism authority and has an image of an arrow striking a bird wing and a trident piecing a fish with the title IX Fiera Di Ancona Mostra Nazionale Della Pesca E Della Caccia. The lower margin indicates this poster was printed by Industrie Grafiche Galvan of Bologna and Alessandria.
This vintage original poster has been professionally linen backed with some minor touch up as needed including expert repair to two short tears on the top edge and a small notch in the margin on the tip of the lower left corner not affecting the image area. The colors retain their original vibrancy and the poster makes a striking impression. Overall condition is very good.
