This vintage original travel poster issued in the late 1920s promotes the Austrian municipality of Hinterbrühl as a Sommerfrische or summer resort.  The silhouettes of two prominent pine trees whose sweeping branches extend across the top of the image frame a sunlight view of Hinterbrühl nestled within the rolling green hills and mountains of the scenic Wienerwald countryside. German language text at the bottom mentions the convenient rail connection from Vienna via the Südbahn, a family swimming pool and entertainment and sports attractions. The lower edge of the poster credits "H. Hoffmann Wien" and "Secession G.m.b.H. Wien VIII"

This poster has been professionally conservation mounted to an archival linen backing with some expert touch up as needed including repair to pinholes on the corners and a couple short edge tears.  The poster also has a light crease on the upper right hand corner which shows lightly after the linen backing.  The original colors are retained and the poster displays beautifully.  Interested buyers are welcome to contact us for a photo of the poster prior to linen backing.  Overall condition is very good for this vintage original.
