This vintage original 1956 US Treasury whimsical cartoon poster promoting payroll savings programs features Beetle Baily artwork by the cartoonist Mort Walker. A copyright by King Features Syndicate is printed in the lower right hand corner. Walker’s artwork features the strip’s characters Sarge Snorkel and Beetle Bailey with a message about all the wonderful things possible through the purchase of monthly savings bonds. This poster has a USGPO document code with the date 1956 and is in very good condition overall with just light handling wear a single staple hole on each corner. Overall condition is very good.
