This dramatic and rare WWII poster was created for the United States Army Ordnance Department’s Keep ‘Em Shooting war bond promotion campaign in 1942. A soldier raises his rifle with one arm and supports a slumping wounded comrade with his other arm as a hellish battle scene of explosions, smoke and fire unfolds behind him all of which is bracketed by the poster’s title Our Fighters Deserve Our Best. The lower margin indicates a 1942 production date and shows the US Army Ordnance Department insignia and the “Keep ‘Em Shooting!” propaganda campaign slogan.

This vintage original poster has no tape or pinholes and shows moderate handling wear including small areas with separation at fold line intersections and some toning from age. The poster has about two inches of separation on the top lateral fold line at the left edge.  The poster retains strong color and displays beautifully with striking effect. Overall condition is very good.
