This delightful vintage original Mid-Century Italian poster promotes The Dolomites as a travel destination and was issued by the ENTE Provincial Tourism Authority of Belluno. The colorful image is of an awestruck group of tourists with mouths agape taking in the spectacular mountain scenery.  The lower margin is printed Edizione Italiana indicating this is the Italian language edition of this poster which was also issued an English edition and probably other languages too.   The artist’s name, Sabi, appears signed in print on the left side of the image and the lower margin indicates this poster was printed by Grafiche Trevisan of Castlefranco Veneto.  This poster has an 8-11-1947 date printed in the lower margin and a 20-6-1949 date printed on the lower right margin.  

This vintage original poster has been professionally linen backed with some expert touch up as needed including repair to a short tear without paper loss on the top edge. A small part of the top margin on the right side not affecting the image area has been expertly replaced.  The original colors are fully retained and the poster displays beautifully and makes a striking impression.  Overall condition is very good.
